Whatever you were about to do, DON’T!
What do I mean by that? You were about to scroll past, maybe click the little ‘X’ in the upper right-hand corner, delete the email, maybe? Well, don’t be discouraged quite yet. I am going to break it down for you. I swear, I am not going to use all those fancy words that tech-guys use because I have no idea what they are, either. What I do know is what they are trying to tell us. All it took was for me to learn their language. Now, I am going to translate it for you. When you realize that I make sense, follow these steps. It will work and it is EASY!
Have you seen this picture? I bet you have at least once. This symbol represents a game. Yeah, I said it, a game. Playing this ‘game’ is no different than reading a book or watching a movie and deciding that you know the ending before you get there. The difference is that there are other people trying to complete the same game as you are, so you have help in discord!!
S.V.V. is an interactive, well, an alternate reality game (ARG). Sorry, I promised not to confuse you – it is an individually selected game (puzzle), given to you to research and complete. Sounds fun, right? It is. More than playing the game and learning things that you never thought that you would. Also, there are rewards!
This is what makes this game intriguing to someone like me. Mind you, it took someone 2 hours to teach me how to screenshot on my PC, get the point? *poor guy*
I am not a gamer. I am not a technical genius. I am about as tech savvy as a caveman. With limited knowledge of ARG’s or computer use… I FIGURED IT OUT!! It really is this easy!
So, here is the best part of this game; they reward you for acts of kindness; genuine acts of kindness, whether in public or on social media. Have you ever heard of such a thing? Me neither. Of course, I needed to know more about this game-changer in humanity. I applied and I began to think this through and this is what I came up with. For example – I make it a habit to buy coffee for the stranger behind me at my local coffee shop. I purchase a random person’s meal at a restaurant. I don’t want them to know it was me, I want them to have a better day because there is still good in this world. Have you ever done this? Did you do it for the same reason?
After finding this ARG, I asked myself, “How could a game reward me for kindness and what is the reward?”
Again, I am going to make this easy on you.
I was rewarded with a cryptocurrency called OHM. DON’T PANIC! These are not scary words. It basically is a virtual currency. Meaning, if you have OHM, you have money.
Have you heard of Bitcoin? A little lightbulb may have brightened slightly for the computer illiterate, while others are nodding because they recognize that they should’ve invested in it forever ago. Let’s have a hypothetical conversation, okay?
Me: What currency do you use, now?
You: The dollar. (assume you are in the US for the sake of me keeping the promise to not confuse everyone)
Me: What determines the value of that dollar?
You: The amount of them that are in circulation.
Me: What happens when the government prints more? (because they do)
You: The value drops.
Me: Does your cost of living decrease when the government crashes the value of a dollar?
You: No.
I know this makes sense, because I had this exact conversation with a friend that is new to cryptocurrency.
Me: What if there was a currency that was not governed by the government and a very specific amount were in circulation without the ability to print more whenever they felt like it?
You: The value would be based on supply and demand. Making it more valuable over time.
*raises eyebrows*
I think you get the point. After this conversation, she asked how she could not only invest in OHM, but she wants to play the game. Win-Win.
After all of this, S.V.V. is a rewarding way of life; one that you may already be living. OHM is not only a, ‘Thank you for being a good person,’ but an investment in the future of your money.
The internet isn’t going anywhere and the future of the dollar is making a sharp turn in the wrong direction. Think about that before you write this off as just another article. As many of you consider your oversight to never investing in Bitcoin, this just might be the one thing that you regret not doing 8 years from now. Don’t let that happen; you’ll kick yourself later.
To be honest, I have been in business and marketing for many years and I have never seen a stronger team behind a company than I have with OHM. They live and breathe the morals and values of their coin, making it that much more valuable. It comes from a good place with an amazing message. The value of the coin is as important as the goodwill they encourage.
